LISC opened its first round of grant applications from a commitment from Lowes to provide much-needed relief to minority-owned businesses.

Lowes has earmarked funds for certain target areas only. Charlotte is considered as a target area. Therefore, the likelihood of Charlotte area businesses receiving funds is much greater.
